The Woodbury County Fire Association is lead by dedicated members of Woodbury County’s fire departments. We strive to provide support and training for all departments in the county throughout the entire year, with our biggest opportunity at the Northwest Iowa Regional Fire School extending far beyond the county.

We understand the risks and importance of safe and effective fire and emergency responses, which is why we host the annual Northwest Iowa Regional Fire School open to all departments, near and far.

For the last 38 years, the school has brought dozens of classes covering essential to advanced topics, all led by top-tier instructors recognized for their expertise. Whether your focus is live fire tactics, handling hazardous materials, officer development, or instructor-centered content, the program’s thoughtfully curated curriculum supports firefighters of varying experience levels.
